Every one is different and things are constantly changing, this includes our bodies. One of the most noticeable changes occur to our skin, seemingly overnight. According to some internet sources the first signs of aging starts around 25 and around 40 is when there is a noticeable change.
Personally I saw a change somewhere a little after 40. My thighs were no longer tight, my skin looked dulled, I was no longer my vibrant self. I needed more and more filters to feel as though my camera quality was acceptable. Then I realized what was wrong. I need a skin care routine outside of the shower and lotion combo.
Around this time I started developing my own body butter. I was looking for something that would keep my skin glowing as well as keeping my skin feeling both smoothe and soft.
What is Body Butter?
Body butter is a skin moisturizer that typically contain products such as cocoa butter, coconut oil, mango butter, just to name a few. Body butters are thicker than lotions and contain a very low water content, if any. Body butters are great for rejuvenating skin e specially those stubborn areas such as the knees and elbows. Body butters are very nourishing and hydrating to the skin.
How Do You Use Body Butter?
Body butters should be applied after bath or shower on slightly damp skin. Apply a small scoop of butter to your body and gently massage into the skin. Repeat this process until you have applied to entire You can always add more so if needed.
